Salma Hayek, 54, said she had a fatal case with the COVID-19 infection, last year. That was during an interview with Variety.

My doctor begged me to go to the hospital because it was so bad. I said, 'No, thank you. I'd rather die at home.'

She has been isolated in her room for seven weeks that means nearly two months and even was put on oxygen for a time period during the infection.

Salma has a 58-year-old husband and a 13-year-old daughter named as François-Henri Pinault and Valentina Paloma Pinault. She is a Mexican and American film actress and producer. Seven weeks can be a very long time for someone like her. She has been involved in several films in nearby years.

Further, she revealed that because of being a Mexican, she lost two major leading film roles.
I remember there were two big comedies I auditioned for the lead. Afterwards, the directors told me that I was the best audition and that I was better than who they cast and that they regretted it. But at the time, they knew the studios wouldn't have gone for a Mexican as the lead.

It is reported that she will return to work in April. But she says she has not yet regained her full energy. According to her statement, the most common symptom that affected her is fatigue.

However, she is not the one and only person who fought with the Corona infection in such a fatal condition. But, should be admired for her courage and self-confidence.

In addition, it should be said that she is set to shoot a supporting role in the upcoming film House of Gucci.
