Julie E. "Tawny" Kitaen, the American actress, model, and media personality died on the 7th of May 2021 at her Newport Beach home at the age of 59.

Her daughter, Wynter Finley has confirmed her death to The New York Times. But she did not immediately know the cause of her mother's death.

Wynter and Raine posted a note on Instagram on May 8 about their mother's death.

We are heartbroken and saddened to announce the death of our mom. We just want to say thank you for all of you, her fans and her friends, for always showing her such support and love. You gave her life every day. We miss her and love her and we know her legacy will live on forever.

A brief description of her...

Kitaen was born in San Diego, California in 1961 to the parents of Linda Kitaen (a housewife and one-time beauty pageant participant) and Terry Kitaen (an employee of a neon sign company). 

Tawny is her nickname which is begun to use by her own preference at her age, 12. 

When we consider her modelling side;

She appeared on the cover of Ratt in 1983 and the band's debut Atlantic studio album Out of the Cellar in 1984.
 
Kitaen began her acting career in 1983. That is by contributing to a minor role in the Malibu TV film.
